Baklava with Walnut Filling (for Chefs)

Ingredients:
1 roll of baklava sheets (2.5 kg, for chefs)

 

Ghee or butter

 

Cold heavy syrup or honey

 

Crushed walnuts (for filling)

 

Preparation Method:
  1. Spread a layer of ghee or butter on a baking tray.
  2. Arrange half of the baklava sheets evenly in the tray.
  3. Evenly distribute the crushed walnut filling over the sheets.
  4. Cover the filling with the remaining baklava sheets.
  5. Cut the baklava into evenly sized squares or diamond shapes.
  6. Drizzle more ghee or butter over the top.
  7. Bake in a moderately hot oven until golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately pour the cold syrup or honey over the baklava.
  9. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
