Candy Fillo (Pleated)

Ingredients:
1 pack of fillo pastry from Candy

 

Butter or ghee

 

Custard mixture

 

Honey or syrup

 

Preparation:
  1. Take a sheet of fillo pastry and fold it lengthwise into alternating pleats.
  2. Place the folded pastry in a baking tray and repeat the process until the desired quantity is reached.
  3. Evenly distribute the butter or ghee over the fillo pastry.
  4. Bake in the oven until it reaches half-done baking.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the custard mixture by stirring it cold until smooth and well combined.
  6. Remove the tray from the oven and evenly pour the custard mixture over the fillo.
  7. Return the tray to the oven and bake until fully cooked and golden brown.
  8. Once out of the oven, drizzle cold honey or syrup over the top as desired.
  9. Serve warm or cold, based on preference.
