Kunafa and Candy Fillo with Nuts

Ingredients:
Candy Kunafa Dough

 

Candy Fillo Dough Sheets

 

Ghee

 

Nuts (Peanuts + Coconut)

 

Sugar Syrup or Honey

 

Preparation:
  1. Cut the kunafa dough into very small pieces.
  2. Add ghee to the kunafa and mix well until fully combined.
  3. Spread the kunafa evenly in a suitable baking tray.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of nuts (such as peanuts and coconut) over the kunafa.
  5. Layer the fillo dough sheets on top, brushing ghee between each layer.
  6. Cut the fillo dough into equal-sized portions.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at a moderate temperature until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately pour cold, thick sugar syrup over it.
  9. Let it absorb the syrup well before serving.
